Three days, six slots, one of the finest floral hands working today. Maya Chen guests at Ashgrove from October 16–18, and her books open Monday at noon.

Who Is Maya Chen?

Maya has spent the last decade specialising in fine-line botanical work: single-needle stems, soft grey wash petals, and compositions that follow the body's lines instead of fighting them. Her healed work is what sold us — delicate pieces that stay legible years later, because she builds every design with ageing in mind.

If you follow her flash drops, you know the pattern: they sell out in hours. This guest spot is the first time she has worked this side of the country, and we expect the same.

How Booking Works

Maya's books open Monday, September 21 at 12pm sharp. There are six appointment slots across the three days. To claim one, send our booking form with “Maya Chen” in the subject line, plus your placement, approximate size, and two or three reference images.

Pricing and Deposits

Maya's guest rate is $200 per hour with a two-hour minimum. A $100 deposit secures your slot and comes off the final total on the day. Deposits move with you if Maya's travel shifts, and are fully refundable until your design is approved.

Preparing for Your Appointment

Eat a real meal, bring water and something sweet, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement. Avoid sunburn for two weeks before — burnt skin cannot be tattooed, and October slots cannot be rebooked. Read our healing guide before the day so aftercare is already familiar.

Missed Out? Join the Waitlist

If all six slots go, send the form anyway with “Maya waitlist” in the subject. Guest spots always shake loose one cancellation, and waitlisted clients get first refusal — plus early notice of her next visit.
